Golf Channel Cancels ‘Big Break x Good Good’ After PGA Tour Parts Ways With YouTube Stars

The Hollywood Reporter · 2 hours ago

Golf Channel has cancelled its fully filmed 2026 revival season of Big Break x Good Good after the PGA Tour ended Good Good’s title sponsorship of a tournament linked to the programme. The decision means the show’s winner will no longer receive the promised route into a PGA Tour event, removing the competition’s intended prize and purpose.

The series, due to premiere on Tuesday, had first been delayed after presenting sponsor Golf Galaxy withdrew support, and was then cancelled outright. The fallout followed criticism of a Good Good and Callaway advert in which co-founder Garrett Clark knocks down golfer Alexis Miestowski over a branded driver; the company said it parodied the film Obsession and apologised. The PGA Tour’s 12–15 November event will still take place without Good Good branding, while the unnamed winner of the 12-person competition will not join its 120-player field; Golf Channel says Big Break will return in 2027.
