Google is widening access to Gemini Spark, its agentic AI assistant that works across Workspace applications, following its introduction at this year’s I/O developer conference. The expansion makes the tool available to more paying subscribers, signalling Google’s push to embed automated AI assistance into everyday email, calendar and document work.

In the US, Spark is rolling out to Google AI Pro subscribers, who pay $20 a month, while Google AI Ultra subscribers can receive it globally at subscriptions costing $100 to $200 monthly. Free users remain excluded, and the rollout does not cover AI Ultra subscribers in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the UK or Nigeria; availability may also depend on local-language support. Powered by Gemini 3.5, Spark can review emails and calendars, suggest priorities, draft replies, summarise threads and create reports from meeting notes and emails.
