Google has made its AI-powered "Live" voice features generally available across Gmail, Docs and Keep, moving them out of beta for paying Google AI subscribers. The rollout extends the conversational, Gemini Live-style experience—already familiar from other Google apps—into everyday productivity tools, letting users search emails, draft documents and create notes using natural spoken language rather than typing or manual navigation.

Gmail Live lets users ask natural-language questions about their inbox, such as when a child's next school event is, and follow up conversationally, with on-screen transcripts and links to source emails; it's available to Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers on both Android and iOS. Docs Live helps structure and draft documents based on spoken input, optionally pulling in context from Drive, Chat, Gmail and the web, and is limited to Pro and Ultra subscribers on Android and iOS. Keep Live generates notes and lists from spoken instructions, inferring context such as grouping grocery items without explicit prompts, though for now it is Android-only and restricted to Pro and Ultra tiers.
