Gracie Abrams has secured her second UK number one album with Daughter From Hell, reinforcing her growing commercial success in Britain. The achievement follows her 2024 chart-topper The Secret of Us and comes ahead of a planned UK and European arena tour this autumn.

The album debuted at the top on 24 July, ahead of Michael Jackson’s The Essential at No. 2 and Olivia Rodrigo’s you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love at No. 3. Elsewhere, Olivia Dean rose to No. 4 while her Sam Fender collaboration “Rein Me In” matched the record for the longest-running UK number one single at 18 weeks; Nia Archives entered at No. 30 and topped the Dance Albums Chart.
