- Preloading is reportedly scheduled for 12 November.

## Summary

Grand Theft Auto VI is reportedly set to require a 210GB download on PlayStation 5, according to a post by dataminer PlayStation Game Size, a claim also reported by Insider Gaming. If accurate, the size could mean players need to clear substantial console storage and may face a lengthy download at launch.

It is unclear whether 210GB is the final installed size or the download size, and whether installation needs additional temporary space. The reported download is 61GB larger than the 149GB of free space Red Dead Redemption 2 needed on PS4, and exceeds half the usable storage on a standard 512GB Xbox Series S. Preloading is reportedly due to begin on 12 November, ahead of the 19 November release; a day-one patch could add to the download.
