green star’s ‘teeth’ Conveys Broken Romanticism
green star have released a new single, ‘teeth’, which develops the band’s blend of shoegaze, noise rock and pop-oriented songwriting. The track is presented as a move towards more narrative material, exploring “broken romanticism” through a fictional character called Silver.
According to the band, ‘teeth’ was the first song written after their debut EP, ‘bleeding swirls’, and begins a story that will continue across forthcoming music and visuals. They describe it as a suspended, contemplative portrayal of emotional erosion, desire and devastation; green star are also scheduled to play Reeperbahn in Germany and End Of The Road festival in September.
