Two sisters have appeared in court accused of stalking a man they blamed for their father's death, in a case that allegedly involved a severed pig's head being left on his car. Mercedes Green, 20, and Tuesday Green, 36, are said to have targeted Andrew Carroll in West Hampstead between October and December 2025 after their father, window cleaner John Green, died aged nearly 65 outside a railway station. An inquest later found he died of natural causes, but the sisters allegedly waged a campaign of intimidation against Mr Carroll in the belief he was responsible.

Prosecutors at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court said the alleged stalking escalated over seven incidents in two months, from sending photographs to a wreath and, ultimately, the pig's head. The sisters allegedly sent a threatening card in November, bombarded Mr Carroll with 64 photos of their late father, and are accused of throwing a brick through a neighbour's window. Both deny one charge of stalking causing fear of violence, while Tuesday Green also denies threatening to kill Mr Carroll; they have been bailed ahead of a hearing at Wood Green Crown Court on 13 October.
