‘Grown Ups 3’ Begins Production, Adam Sandler Reunites With Co-Stars In Set Photo
Adam Sandler has kicked off production on "Grown Ups 3", reuniting with his longtime co-stars more than a decade after the last instalment. He marked the occasion by sharing a set photo on Instagram, captioned "We missed you!", showing him at a restaurant table with Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Salma Hayek, Maya Rudolph, Maria Bello and his wife Jackie Sandler, alongside newer cast additions Bailee Madison and Deon Cole.
Netflix announced the third film in May, with Kyle Newacheck directing from a script by Sandler and Tim Herlihy. The original "Grown Ups" (2010) and its 2013 sequel, both directed by Dennis Dugan and released theatrically by Columbia Pictures, grossed around $272 million and $247 million worldwide respectively. This time the project lands at Netflix, reflecting Sandler's decade-long production deal with the streamer, which has already yielded more than ten films. Sandler, Jackie Sandler, Jack Giarraputo and Herlihy are producing, with Kevin Grady and Judit Maull as executive producers.
