## Key points

- CyberLeek leaked several unauthorised GTA 6 gameplay clips over two days.
- Claim of "full access" traced to a fake impersonator account, later retracted.
- Leaks tied to anger over digital-only release and crypto donation solicitation.

## Summary

A leaker known as CyberLeek continued releasing unauthorised Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay footage over two days, fuelling concern that Rockstar Games could not contain the leaks ahead of an official Netflix "extended look" trailer. An earlier claim that the leaker had "full access" to the game was later retracted by Eurogamer, after it emerged the statement came from an impersonating social media account rather than the genuine CyberLeek operation, which said it only runs a Telegram channel and a website.

Four videos leaked in total, including a biplane flying over a densely detailed city resembling Vice City and footage ending with bullet holes spelling "leek", tying the clips to the leaker's identity. The leaks were reportedly motivated by anger over GTA 6 not receiving a physical disc release and over expensive exclusive content in the Ultimate Edition, though CyberLeek was also soliciting cryptocurrency donations, prompting Stop Killing Games to urge people not to fund the "illegal" leaks.
