## Key points

- Guitarricadelafuente is writing his third album.
- Acting and touring have changed his creative process.
- He hopes to act again after *La Bola Negra*.

## Summary

Guitarricadelafuente has started writing his third studio album, drawing on a new approach to songwriting shaped by his acting debut in *La Bola Negra*, two years of touring and a busier life. He says he has learned to write amid constant activity, rather than relying on solitude for inspiration.

The 29-year-old began working on the album after filming wrapped and has continued writing in Los Angeles; its title and release date have not been announced. *La Bola Negra*, directed by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo, features Penélope Cruz and Glenn Close, explores queer desire and repression across Spanish history, and includes his original song “La Nieve”. The album will follow *Spanish Leather* and his 2022 debut, *La Cantera*.
