GWAR Joins Forces With Joe BOB BRIGGS For ‘GWAR And The Last Drive-In-Stein’ Album

GWAR and horror film presenter Joe Bob Briggs are releasing a collaborative album, “GWAR And The Last Drive-In-Stein”, on 13 November through Pit Records. The project brings together GWAR’s theatrical metal and the world of Briggs’s horror and drive-in film programme, marking more than 40 years of GWAR and four decades of Briggs’s television career.

The vinyl release has two sides: the first features GWAR’s performance from “The Last Drive-In” 2025 Halloween special, with original songs and covers, while the second collects tracks by the programme’s house band, John Brennan and the Bigfeet. The new single “Splatter-Fu”, written for GWAR by John Brennan, and its video are out now. The album has 16 tracks, and GWAR is also preparing a “Gor Gor Must Die!” tour with Midnight and Mac Sabbath as direct support.
