HALESTORM has released video footage of frontwoman Lzzy Hale's full speech given at the opening of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's new exhibit, "Women In Metal: You Will Know My Name". The exhibit celebrates pioneering female figures in the metal genre, highlighting artists who challenged expectations and helped bring the genre to wider audiences, and Hale's remarks framed the occasion as a tribute to the women who paved the way for her own career.

The event took place on 10 July, when Hale and HALESTORM guitarist Joe Hottinger performed an acoustic set before Hale addressed the audience in Cleveland. In her speech, she reflected on growing up in rural Pennsylvania, described the barriers faced by women in metal, and paid tribute to the singers, guitarists, drummers and songwriters who "held the gate open" for those who followed, framing the exhibit as evidence of ongoing progress rather than a finished story.
