## Key points

- The Phelps twins will probably watch HBO’s Harry Potter series.
- They sent the new Fred and George actors their best wishes.
- James says he often mutes the cast group chat.

## Summary

Oliver and James Phelps, who played Fred and George Weasley in all eight Harry Potter films, say they will probably watch HBO’s upcoming television adaptation. They know little about the series but are interested in seeing its different take, and wished the actors playing the twins well.

The new Fred and George will be played by Tristan and Gabriel Harland, whom the Phelps twins have contacted once to offer encouragement. The original cast keeps in touch through a group chat, though James says he mutes chats and has been teased by Tom Felton for not replying. The Phelps twins are also hosting the third season of Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, which returns on 4 November.
