Warner Bros. Discovery is bringing the original Harry Potter films back to cinemas in August 2026 to mark 25 years since the release of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, giving fans the chance to relive the franchise on the big screen, including in immersive 4DX format. The re-release celebrates a saga that launched the careers of Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson and became a defining cultural phenomenon for a generation of viewers worldwide.

Directed initially by Chris Columbus, the series later passed through the hands of Alfonso Cuarón, Mike Newell and David Yates, each bringing a distinct visual and tonal style across the eight films, from the whimsical introduction of the Wizarding World to the darker, war-driven conclusion in the Deathly Hallows instalments.
