## Key points

- Green Lantern spin-off will have 10 half-hour episodes.
- Jessica Cruz will balance hero duties with student life.
- No release date or fourth-season renewal has been announced.

## Summary

DC Studios has confirmed that *My Adventures with Green Lantern* will have a 10-episode first season, each episode lasting half an hour. The update gives a clearer picture of the spin-off’s scale and direction, while leaving its release date unknown and the future of *My Adventures with Superman* uncertain.

The series follows Jessica Cruz as she takes on life as a new hero while studying at Hal Jordan Memorial High. Auliʻi Cravalho will voice Cruz, with Kyle Rayner and Kilowog among the other Green Lantern characters; the show is described as tonally similar to its Superman predecessor, with different themes. The team is reviewing animatics and animation, but its work on the spin-off may delay a possible fourth season of *My Adventures with Superman*, which has not been renewed.
