## Summary

Cult Of Luna have released “Sadness Will Reign”, a new single featuring Gojira frontman Joe Duplantier. The collaboration pairs his growl with singer and guitarist Johannes Persson’s over five minutes of heavy riffing, and arrives as the Swedish band build towards their next studio album.

“In The Shadow Of Your Shadow” is due out on Friday, with “Sadness Will Reign” its fourth single. Gojira are still working on their eighth album, following 2021’s “Fortitude”; drummer Mario Duplantier has said the band want time to make new material feel fresh and powerful. Cult Of Luna’s European tour runs from 26 February to 13 March, including a London show on 6 March, and the album will also feature David Eugene Edwards.
