Metal singer Doro Pesch has released a heavy cover of Fleetwood Mac's classic Go Your Own Way, teaming up with Whitesnake guitarist Joel Hoekstra and Sepultura drummer Grayson Nekrutman. The track is a preview of the upcoming tribute album Steel Rumours: The Songs Of Fleetwood Mac Reforged In Metal, which reimagines the band's catalogue in a rock and metal style ahead of its release later this year.

The compilation is due out on 20 November via Cleopatra Records and features a roster of heavyweight metal musicians, including former Judas Priest vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens, ex-Black Sabbath/Dio drummer Vinny Appice, Rainbow singer Ronnie Romero and Blackmore's Night's Candice Night. Go Your Own Way was originally written by Lindsey Buckingham about his breakup with bandmate Stevie Nicks and became a Top 10 US hit after its 1976 release, reaching number 38 in the UK; it has since been covered by acts including Biffy Clyro, The Cranberries and NOFX. It marks Doro's first new material since her 2023 album Conqueress – Forever Strong and Proud.
