Deadline has added further Season 1 cast members returning for "Heated Rivalry" Season 2, expanding on an earlier list of returnees alongside leads Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams. The newly confirmed names include François Arnaud and Robbie G.K. as couple Scott and Kip, Sophie Nélisse as Rose, Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova as Svetlana, Christina Chang and Dylan Walsh as Shane's parents, and Callan Potter, Benjamin Roy and Kamilla Kowal as teammates and their partners, filling out an already sizeable ensemble for the second season of the hockey romance drama.
These actors join previously announced newcomers such as Justice Smith, Charlie Gillespie, Daniel Diemer and Emily Hampshire. Season 2, based on Rachel Reid's novel "The Long Game" with elements from "Role Model", continues the story of Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov ten years into their secret relationship, as Ilya pushes to go public while Shane resists for the sake of his career. The show is produced by Accent Aigu Entertainment for Bell Media's Crave and HBO Max, created by Jacob Tierney, and distributed in more than 130 countries.
