## Summary

A gunman killed six people and injured at least 15 in Krakow, in an attack Polish authorities are treating as terrorism. Two officers confronted him within three minutes; one, Jakub Kulik, is fighting for his life in hospital, prompting an urgent appeal for blood donations.

The victims included four men and two women, one of them a British citizen. The suspect, who was also critically injured and taken into custody, allegedly killed his parents and sister at their home before the attack. Officials said he held radical far-right views, and Poland began two days of national mourning; both officers remain in serious condition.
