Jake Maddock’s dating-coaching company enters liquidation owing tax office

Daily Mail · 2 hours ago

Self-styled "alpha male" dating coach Jake Maddock, who built a brand around teaching women how to secure a "10/10 relationship", has seen his company collapse into liquidation, with the Australian Taxation Office among its creditors. Jake Maddock Pty Ltd entered creditors' voluntary liquidation this week and has ceased trading, raising questions about the future of his coaching business even as he continues to promote his controversial relationship advice online.

Liquidators Edwin Sanjesh Narayan and Andrew James Quinn of Mackay Goodwin were appointed after the company was deemed insolvent, with Narayan confirming the firm stopped trading on 10 August and that the ATO is a major creditor, though the exact debts owed remain unconfirmed. Maddock, a former project manager, builder, estate agent and corrections officer, is known for prescriptive dating rules such as men paying for and planning every date and couples being intimate three times a week. Amid the liquidation, he and wife Tori have listed their six-bedroom Hervey Bay mansion, complete with sauna, ice bath and cinema room, for around $2.2-2.25 million, having bought it for $1.5 million in 2023.
