Hohem, known mainly for camera and smartphone gimbals, has unveiled the Eyepic, a two-in-one gimbal camera featuring a detachable camera unit that can be worn around the neck or attached to a helmet, cap or other surfaces. The design allows users to switch between a stabilised gimbal setup and a wearable action camera, positioning it as a versatile, sharing-focused vlogging device that joins similar hybrid offerings from rivals such as DJI and Insta360, as well as newer entrants like RugOne and HoverAIR.

The detachable camera records up to 4K video at 60fps and offers three-axis stabilisation when mounted on the gimbal, with a rotating 2.5-inch touchscreen enabling full-resolution horizontal or vertical capture without cropping. It comes with a hat clip, lanyard and magnetic connectors, is waterproof to 32.8 feet, and lets users preview footage remotely from up to 33 feet away on the gimbal's screen. Hohem also announced two new smartphone gimbals, the iSteady V4 Ultra and X4, both with Apple DockKit tracking, plus a wireless microphone system called the Mic 2. Pricing and exact launch dates have not been revealed, though Hohem expects the Eyepic to reach the market in early 2027.
