## Summary

New coverage adds James Woods, a rare Hollywood supporter of Donald Trump, congratulating Democratic winners and blaming Republicans for their losses. His reaction came after Democrats retook both chambers of Congress in the 2026 midterm elections, reversing the Republicans’ strong showing two years earlier.

Other celebrities also celebrated the results: Rosie O’Donnell called them a rebuke of Trump and urged investigations, while John Cusack celebrated wins in Texas and elsewhere and called for Trump’s impeachment and removal. John Leguizamo, Bette Midler, Normani and Henry Winkler welcomed the outcome, and Cusack praised Michigan Senate winner Abdul El-Sayed.
