## Summary

Saban Community Clinic’s 50th anniversary gala raised $2.2 million for its healthcare services across Los Angeles, which are available to anyone who comes through its doors. The event also honoured Amazon MGM Studios executive Peter Friedlander and former Showtime chief David Nevins, bringing together entertainment figures to support the clinic as it prepares to expand.

WME co-chair Richard Weitz praised fellow event chair Bela Bajaria, recently ousted as Netflix’s chief content officer, prompting a standing ovation. Speakers highlighted concerns about healthcare access, including cuts to programmes such as Medicaid and changes that may make immigrant families afraid to seek care. The clinic operates seven sites and plans a new 12,000-square-foot centre in the Crenshaw corridor.
