## Summary

Christians in India and Bangladesh observed All Souls’ Day on Monday 2 November 2026 by visiting graves, lighting candles, laying flowers and praying for people who had died. Photographs from Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad show relatives and members of religious orders paying their respects. In Kolkata, Sisters of the Missionaries of Charity prayed beside graves and lit candles around them.

In Dhaka, worshippers gathered at the Holy Rosary Church cemetery in Tejgaon and at the Christian cemetery in Wari. Some cleaned and decorated graves before spending time in prayer. The images show how a shared Christian observance takes shape through personal acts of remembrance across both countries. The photographs were published on 3 November, the day after the observance.
