## Key points

- Hoobastank canceled all six Brazil tour dates.
- Rising logistical costs made the concerts unfeasible.
- Fresno will replace them at the Nova Iguaçu festival.

## Summary

Hoobastank have canceled all six dates of their 2026 Brazil tour, saying rising logistical costs made the shows financially unfeasible. The cancellation ends plans for their first Brazilian performances in nearly 11 years, though the band hopes to arrange another tour in the future.

The run was due to start on 1 November at Somos Rock Festival in Vila Velha and finish on 8 November in Nova Iguaçu. Somos Rock will continue without a replacement act, while Fresno has been added to the Nova Iguaçu festival. Hoobastank still have a 20 November show in West Hollywood and are scheduled to tour North America with Staind and Seether from March 2027.
