## Key points

- Hooters returns to NASCAR at Miami-Homestead.
- Cole Custer will drive the No. 41 Hooters car.
- The brand has faced closures and a costly sponsorship dispute.

## Summary

Hooters will return to NASCAR this weekend at Miami-Homestead Speedway, where the brand and its restaurant staff will support Cole Custer’s No. 41 Chevrolet during the Cup championship. The appearance offers a rare positive moment for a company facing closures and financial strain, and signals an effort to show that the brand remains active.

It is Hooters’ first appearance on a car since a 2024 sponsorship dispute led Hendrick Motorsports to sue for $1.705 million; Hooters later paid $900,000. The article also mentions recent closures in Chicago and Atlanta, as well as the permanent closure of the Daytona International Speedway restaurant, but gives no details about the new NASCAR arrangement.
