Horner, who was dismissed by Red Bull in 2025, described Ferrari as his dream Formula 1 job.

Vasseur made the comments after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where Charles Leclerc finished fourth and Lewis Hamilton sixth. He also highlighted Ferrari’s engine deficit on Baku’s long straights, while insisting he remains committed to the team with seven races left. Horner’s departure followed internal investigations into allegations he denied, and Ferrari have not won the constructors’ championship since 2008.
