## Summary

A fire tore through a restaurant and flat on Seven Sisters Road in Finsbury Park, north London, on Bonfire Night. One man jumped from a second-floor window to escape and was taken to hospital with minor injuries; eight people were evacuated. The blaze prompted a major emergency response and disruption in the area.

Around 70 firefighters attended as flames spread through the building’s top floor and roof. Station Commander Adam Lawson advised local residents to keep their windows and doors closed, and said Seven Sisters Road was shut between Holloway Road and Finsbury Park station, with motorists and pedestrians urged to avoid the area. A witness described seeing four hoses directed at the building as crowds watched.
