A 37-year-old Texas woman has been charged after police say she stabbed her husband and two young children at their home before dawn. The case is significant because all three family members were injured and remain in hospital.

Police say the husband called 911 at about 4.30am with a head wound; officers found the three-year-old girl and 10-month-old boy with chest wounds. Holly Flores is charged with attempted capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and is being held at Denton County Jail.
