## Summary

My Chemical Romance’s 2006 album *The Black Parade* has reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for the first time, 20 years after its release. Its rise from No. 139 follows a deluxe anniversary reissue and underscores the band’s enduring connection with fans.

The album originally peaked at No. 2, behind the *Hannah Montana* soundtrack. Contributors describe the milestone as significant for the band’s legacy and potential to attract younger listeners, while pointing to its reunion tour, which features the full album across 47 shows on four continents, and a reissue with three new songs and three live recordings as factors in the renewed interest.
