The soulful midtempo track, released in April, saw renewed momentum this summer when Will Ferrell played a clip of it during an appearance on Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson's "IMO" podcast, followed by a favourable shout-out from the popular TikTok-based "The Morning Shift Show".

The exposure translated into a dramatic streaming surge: official US on-demand streams jumped 892%, from 67,000 in the four days before the podcast mentions to over 670,000 in the days after. The song has since debuted at No. 24 on the Digital Song Sales chart dated 1 August, making Magnus a Billboard-charting artist in his own right, following his father's 2020 chart entry with "Husavik" from the film "Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga".
