To earn PEAK’s Exorcist badge, players must burn a large ghost in the GLOOM biome using a nearby source of light or fire. The task is significant because the swamp area is obscured by mist, contains Crows and inflicts continuous sleep damage, making ghost encounters potentially hazardous.

Players can use a randomly found Candlestick, activating it when the ghost approaches; it also protects against sleep damage while lit. Alternatively, one of five Belltowers can be activated to create a safe area in the mist and burn a nearby ghost, while a Faerie Lantern can reportedly achieve the same result.
