‘How to Change the World,’ Exec Produced by Mark Cuban, Puts Spotlight on Social Entrepreneurs (Exclusive)

A new 10-part documentary series, "How to Change the World," will spotlight social entrepreneurs addressing global challenges when it premieres on YouTube on 10 September. The show is executive produced by Mark Cuban alongside Geralyn Dreyfous and Gotham Chopra, and is a joint production between World Within Studios and Religion of Sports, offering an alternative to the conventional "grow fast, sell for as much as possible" entrepreneurship narrative by focusing on founders whose success is measured by community impact rather than personal gain.

Each episode follows a real founder's story, ranging from a small beverage startup to a Lakota-founded green energy company, covering areas such as clean energy, local economies and food systems. Contributors featured include Cuban, former Starbucks chief executive Howard Schultz, NYU professor Scott Galloway, Acumen founder Jacqueline Novogratz, climber Alex Honnold and former US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. The series is directed by Dylan Mulick, Oliver Riley-Smith and Nicholas Mihm, and produced by World Within, a nonprofit previously behind the Tribeca-winning short "Makayla's Voice."
