## Key points

- Defeat the Chief Disciple to get the key.
- Follow the missed dirt path via the dovecote.
- The Training Grounds contains the Pipa backplate and other rewards.

## Summary

The Training Grounds Key in *Phantom Blade Zero* is obtained by defeating the Chief Disciple of the Seven-Stars Formation in the Mandate Encampment. Finding the route to the boss matters because the key opens the Training Grounds and helps players progress with repairing the Illusory Pipa.

The route is easy to miss: look for a dirt path through the main Mandate camp leading to a dovecote and then to the boss. Beyond the Training Grounds door is another boss, with Baishan Stormswords and a Broken Vessel Accessory among the rewards; players can also find the Illusory Pipa’s backplate and other collectibles.
