Leontiel’s Greatsword is a new weapon in Elden Ring’s Tarnished Pack DLC, obtained by defeating the NPC invader Knight Leontiel in Caelid after Starscourge Radahn has been killed. It matters chiefly for its distinctive Muleta Ash of War, which combines evasive movement with counterattacks and gives Dexterity-focused players a stylish, mobile option.

Leontiel appears just north-west of Radahn’s arena and uses counter moves, sidesteps and attacks signalled by a raised red cloth; ranged attacks may give players an early advantage. Defeating him grants both the greatsword and its matching matador-style armour set. Muleta allows chained light and heavy follow-ups while FP lasts, with light attacks sidestepping and striking, and heavy attacks travelling further, dealing more damage and producing an upward thrust when used twice; it also works well with Rellana’s Cameo, though the unique weapon cannot have its affinity or Ash of War changed and has no status effect such as Bleed.
