## Key points

- Find Mysterious Mushrooms on Sakurajima Island.
- Harvest blue fungi near water or defeat Shroomer Pals.
- Twenty mushrooms are needed for the Shroomer Noct saddle.

## Summary

Mysterious Mushrooms in Palworld are obtainable only on Sakurajima Island, making the region essential for players seeking the ingredient. They are chiefly needed for crafting the Shroomer Noct saddle, which enables the Pal to be used as a mount and unlocks its Swooshy Spores partner skill.

Players can harvest the mushrooms by cutting down large blue fungi found near water on Sakurajima, or by defeating Shroomer and Shroomer Noct Pals, which may drop them. The saddle requires 20 Leather, 20 Mysterious Mushrooms, 30 Fibre, 10 Refined Ingots and 30 Paldium Fragments; the item was introduced in the mid-2024 Sakurajima update and can also make Mysterious Mushroom Juice.
