How to watch NASA’s Crew-13 launch
NASA’s SpaceX Crew-13 mission is scheduled to carry three astronauts and one cosmonaut to the International Space Station on 1 October. The flight will add a new crew for research and technology trials supporting future missions to the Moon and Mars, while relieving Crew-12.
The launch from Cape Canaveral is set for 11:10am ET, with livestream coverage beginning at 9:20am ET on NASA’s YouTube channel, Netflix, Discovery+, X, NASA+ and Amazon Prime Video. Commander Jessica Watkins is joined by pilot Luke Delaney, Canadian astronaut Joshua Kutryk and Russian cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov; several are making their first spaceflight. NASA says the planned seven-hour, 50-minute journey to docking would be the fastest US spacecraft trip to the station on record. The launch comes as NASA targets a crewed lunar return in 2028, with Artemis III lander tests planned for 2027.
