Howard Stern has handed control of one of his two SiriusXM channels to Andy Cohen from 1 September, marking a genuine shift in the pair's radio arrangement rather than a repeat of last year's on-air prank suggesting Stern had been fired. The move accompanies Stern's transition to hosting just one live show a week instead of two, alongside a newly struck deal with HBO Max to turn his live SiriusXM broadcasts into streaming episodes.

Stern is giving Cohen Channel 101, previously used for archival clips of his show, while retaining full ownership of his flagship Howard 100 channel. Other changes include Sebastian Maniscalco's Comedy Radio moving to channel 102 (Cohen's former slot) and Netflix Is a Joke Radio shifting to channel 105; Howard 100 will also get a revamped lineup from 14 September, including an expanded Wrap Up Wednesday. SiriusXM declined to comment on speculation that Cohen could eventually succeed Stern, or on reported layoffs linked to Stern's reduced schedule.
