## Summary

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder said Romelle Donovan has a major role to play this season after the winger impressed in a 1-0 win over Wrexham. Donovan’s first Championship start in more than seven weeks brought pace and creativity to the attack, giving Wilder a chance to reaffirm his confidence in the Brentford loanee.

Donovan started on the left, with Ben Brereton Díaz leading the line in place of Patrick Bamford, and delivered nine crosses before coming off to a standing ovation in the 86th minute. Wilder said Donovan was at the club for the full 46-game campaign, with 33 matches still to play, and explained that earlier selection choices reflected both tactical considerations and the players who had earned their places.
