Hulu is developing a television adaptation of "The Poison Daughter", a dark enemies-to-lovers romantasy novel by Sheila Masterson, in a move seen as a natural successor to Starz's "Outlander" now that the flagship series has concluded after eight seasons. The project, first reported by Deadline, arrives as fans of the fantasy-romance genre look for a new series to follow, with Masterson set to executive produce under 20th Television.
