## Summary

*Lucky Strike*, a Second World War film starring Scott Eastwood, has become Hulu’s most-watched film after arriving on the service on 26 October. Its streaming success follows a weak cinema run, showing renewed audience interest in stories about individual soldiers caught in the conflict.

Directed by Rod Lurie, the film is set during the Battle of the Bulge and follows an American soldier stranded behind enemy lines who uses a radio to contact his allies. Colin Hanks, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor and Taylor John Smith also star. Released in cinemas on 26 June 2026, it took about $1.5 million at the US box office and received mixed reviews, with critics praising its action but citing familiar war-film clichés.
