## Key points

- Man in France finds five dead babies in cardboard boxes
- Discovery reportedly followed argument with his wife
- Police investigation into circumstances is ongoing

## Summary

A man in France reportedly discovered the bodies of five dead babies inside cardboard boxes at a property, apparently after a dispute with his wife over what the boxes contained. The case has been referred to police, who are investigating the circumstances surrounding the infants' deaths and how long they had gone undiscovered.

Details remain limited, and French authorities have not yet confirmed the exact location, timeframe or cause of death for the babies. The discovery is understood to have prompted the argument that led the husband to look inside the boxes, though no further information on the wife's account or any arrests has been made public.
