## Key points

- Hyve offers a secure drop-off point for parcels.
- Its 7.4 cubic feet reportedly fits 80 per cent of Amazon package sizes.
- Assembly was cumbersome, and larger deliveries did not fit.

## Summary

The Hyve Smart Package Locker is designed to keep deliveries secure when homeowners are away, addressing the inconvenience and cost of carrier holds and the risk of parcels being left outside. After weeks of testing, the reviewer found it useful, though assembly was difficult and some deliveries were too large to fit.

The locker is 32 inches high, 20 inches wide and 20 inches deep, with 7.4 cubic feet of storage; Hyve says it accommodates 80 per cent of Amazon package sizes. Drivers use four-digit PINs to open its electronic hatch, while the owner receives notifications when it is accessed. The reviewer says three-pack wine deliveries fitted, but larger parcels were often left outside.
