## Summary

Ollie Chessum says loyalty to Leicester Tigers made extending his contract an easy decision, saying he could not picture himself wearing another club’s badge. The England and British and Irish Lions lock has signed a new two-year deal, keeping him at his boyhood club.

The 26-year-old has made 89 appearances for Leicester since coming through its academy in 2020 and has 38 England caps. In his second season as captain, he returned from a foot injury and has led the Tigers to consecutive Premiership wins over Northampton and Bristol, putting them top of the table; the deal is reportedly worth £500,000 a season.
