Slaughter To Prevail frontman Alex Terrible has addressed the controversies that have long surrounded the Russian metalcore band, saying he believes the criticism will never fully go away. He made the comments during a 'People Vs' feature with Metal Hammer ahead of the group's headline set at Bloodstock Festival in the UK, in which musicians answer questions submitted by the public, including on his past association with imagery linked to white supremacism.

Alex has previously admitted to having tattoos connected to white supremacist symbolism, including a Black Sun and an Othala Rune, and has since had the Black Sun tattoo covered up. He maintains he never got them for political reasons and has acknowledged other past far-right associations that have surfaced in recent years, insisting "I didn't kill anybody, I didn't bully anybody… and I am not a Nazi." The band, now based in Florida, continues to face scrutiny over these issues despite their growing profile on the festival circuit.

  • Alex Terrible says controversy will likely always follow the band
  • He denies being a Nazi despite past far-right-linked tattoos
  • Comments came in Metal Hammer's 'People Vs' feature at Bloodstock
