Thirteen-year-old Brianna Cameron impressed The Voice season 30 judges with a powerful rendition of Tina Turner's "River Deep – Mountain High" during her blind audition. Both Kelly Clarkson and Riley Green instantly turned their chairs for the teenager, whilst Adam Levine and Queen Latifah expressed regret for not doing so. The performance was particularly noteworthy given Cameron's young age and her prior professional experience in the entertainment industry.

Cameron, who hails from New Jersey like judge Queen Latifah, has already built an impressive resumé for her age. She played a young Tina Turner in the Broadway tour of the musical biography and made a guest appearance on Queen Latifah's television series The Equalizer. When the time came to choose a coach, Cameron selected Clarkson, who praised her vocal maturity and stage presence. Riley Green attempted to persuade her by bringing his dog Carl on stage, but the animal's charm proved insufficient against Clarkson's proven track record on the show.
