IDW Reveals a Bold, Colorful Future for The Twilight Zone

IGN · 4 hours ago

IDW Publishing has extended its ongoing The Twilight Zone comic series with six new issues, running from #11 to #16, and has revealed exclusive cover art and creative team details ahead of publication. The series, part of IDW's Dark imprint since its 2025 debut, continues the anthology format of the original television show, with each issue offering a standalone story from a different writer and artist team.

Notably, this new run marks a stylistic shift, as each issue will be presented in full colour rather than the black-and-white format used previously. Contributing creators include Mark Russell and Victor Alpi on issue #11, Jared Cullum on #12, Tyler Boss on #13, Carson Thorn on #14, Simon Roy and Damon Gentry on #15, and Ben Wickey on #16. Co-editors Nic Niño and Ellen Boener said the stories span extraterrestrial and human themes, including man-eating plants, giants, funeral rites and family tragedy, with the addition of colour reportedly inspiring career-best work from the artists. The Twilight Zone #11 is set to launch in comic shops on 21 October.
