## Summary

Ikea’s Varmblixt smart lamp is on sale for $79.99, a $20 reduction, through 11 November. The colourful, donut-shaped lamp can sit on a table or be mounted on a wall, and its lower brightness makes it more suited to bedside or mood lighting than illuminating a whole room.

The newer model offers 12 preset colours and includes a wireless remote for changing colours and brightness or switching the lamp on and off. It supports Matter, so it can connect to compatible smart home platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa; with a compatible setup, users can also access more colours, schedules and routines.
