“I’m Going to Kill You”: Kane Brown Wakes Sick Wife Katelyn With Mid-Concert FaceTime
Country singer Kane Brown surprised fans at The OC Smoke Show in California by FaceTiming his wife, Katelyn, mid-concert after she stayed home ill and missed the show. The pair are known for performing their duet "Thank God" together, so when the crowd noticed her absence during the song, Brown decided to wake her with a late-night call so fans could still see her.
Brown rang Katelyn at around 11:30pm, and she picked up despite being asleep, joking that he would face consequences later with a light-hearted "I'm going to kill you." He briefly asked her to turn on a light so fans could see her face before ending the call and joking with the crowd about holding the household together. "Thank God," released in September 2022 from Brown's album Different Man, topped the US Country Airplay chart, reached number two on the Hot Country Songs chart, and peaked in the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.
