## Summary

A building under construction collapsed in Old Delhi’s Chawri Bazaar on Thursday morning, killing two people and injuring at least one. The incident took place in a crowded wholesale market during the festive shopping rush, raising concerns about safety at busy construction sites.

Six fire units were sent to Gali Sitara, near Chawri Bazar Metro station, after the first alerts around 10 am; the number of people inside was initially unclear.
